Emmanuel Awarded Cummings Foundation Grant to Support Emmanuel Business Collaborative
Emmanuel College is one of 140 local nonprofits to receive grants of $100,000 to $500,000 each through the Cummings Foundation’s $25 Million Grant Program.
Dear Members of the Emmanuel College Community,
We would like to provide an update on the progress of the College’s Presidential Search, which has entered an important deliberative phase.
Recently, several candidates for the presidency visited campus for interviews with representatives of a range of College constituencies, including Trustees, faculty, administrators, students and alumni. We will shortly hold interviews with a narrowed set of finalists. These discussions will engage additional members of our community and allow us to gain further insights into the finalists’ experiences and perspectives, as well as their vision for ensuring the strength of Emmanuel’s mission in the years ahead.
We are grateful to all who have played a role in bringing our Presidential Search to this point. In particular, we thank the members of the Presidential Search Committee, who in April reviewed a broad and highly qualified candidate pool and submitted recommendations to the Board. This was a demanding task, and they completed it with outstanding care and commitment.
We will continue to keep the community apprised as the Presidential Search process moves forward.
Sincerely,
Margaret L. McKenna ’83
