The Associate-to-Master’s (A2M) Pathway is an accelerated route to a Master of Education (M.Ed.) that offers a seamless transfer process and financial incentives for eligible students from partner community colleges.

Through A2M students can:

  • Transfer to Emmanuel and complete a Bachelor’s in Educational Studies in just two years
  • Enter Emmanuel’s Graduate School Early Entry Program, taking two graduate-level courses at no additional cost while still undergraduates
  • Finish their M.Ed. and pursue elementary licensure within just one year of completing their bachelor’s degree.

Financial Benefits

  • Undergraduate scholarship: $25,000 annually for eligible students
  • Graduate scholarship: 10% tuition reduction for Emmanuel’s M.Ed. program
  • Savings in time and cost through Emmanuel’s Graduate School Early Entry program, which allows Seniors to take two graduate-level courses that count toward their undergraduate and graduate programs.   

Eligibility & Support

  • Open to Early Childhood Education Associate degree graduates from a partner community college with a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Enhanced advising and transfer coordination between schools to ensure a smooth transition
  • Participation in the Massachusetts Transfer Guarantee: guaranteed admission, junior status upon enrollment, and full transfer of eligible credits

Yes! Students who do not meet the requirements can still be accepted and receive scholarships, but these outcomes are not guaranteed. Students can apply using the Common Application.
