Danielle Pennock, Director of International Programs

pennockd@emmanuel.edu  |  617-264-7677

As a child, Danielle used to spend hours flipping through her family’s encyclopedias, reading about other countries and trying to teach herself a few words in other languages, so it should be no surprise that she found herself working in international education. During her 19 years in the field, she’s welcomed international students at the EF International School in New York and managed study abroad programs at Marymount College and Suffolk University before coming to Emmanuel in 2012. She currently works part time and remotely from her home in central Massachusetts. Danielle is responsible for the strategic direction of the office as well as coordinating travel courses. Some of her favorite places she’s traveled to include England, Spain, Italy, Greece and Turkey.

Jill Meleedy, Assistant Director of International Programs

meleedyj@emmanuel.edu |  617-975-9215

Jill is a 2011 alumna of Emmanuel, where she majored in Global Studies. After graduation, Jill earned her MA at Lesley University in 2014, and has been working with the Office of International Programs full time since 2014.

Jill’s love for international education came from her study abroad experience in college, a high school trip to Paris, and her experience hosting a foreign exchange student with her family. During graduate school, Jill interned with OIP and with the Colleges of the Fenway and worked for several years with international students from Japan. In her role with OIP, Jill advises students through the study abroad process from initial interest to return and advises international students on F-1 visas. Some of her favorite travel destinations have been Japan, South Africa, Ireland and France. Outside of work, Jill loves exploring Boston, reading, traveling whenever possible, teaching Zumba and spending time with friends and family.
