Since graduating from Emmanuel College, I have always been involved in education either as a teacher or a school administrator on the secondary level After completing a second Master's degree in Computers in Education, I returned to Emmanuel to begin a new phase of teaching and administration. As Director of Academic Computing, I have been responsible for planning the institutional initiatives for academic computing, assisting faculty to integrate appropriate uses of technology into the curriculum, serving as Department Chair for the Information Technology Department, implementing the College's computer literacy requirement, supervising and staffing the Computer Lab and promoting and supervising the minor in Information Technology. I have also been responsible for collaborating with the Colleges of the Fenway in implementing WebCT Vista course management software. In addition, each semester I also teach a course in the Information Technology Department.

I have been a recipient of an Emmanuel College Faculty Development Grant (1997-1998) and three Colleges of the Fenway/Davis Foundation Faculty Initiative Grants (1998, 1999).
