When students come to Emmanuel, it becomes whatever they want it to be. When I was deciding where to attend college, I knew I wanted to go somewhere I could stand out. And I also wanted to be in the city of Boston. It didn't take long to realize Emmanuel was the perfect fit.
Through the study abroad program, I spent my junior year in Africa and Switzerland. As a global studies major, I thought just talking about other places wasn't enough. I needed to be there and see the people, understand their customs and live in their shoes. Emmanuel is an environment that encourages its students to explore the world outside its gates and it has an incredible mission to make global citizens out of its students. When you come here, the whole world is opened up to you.
