Multicultural Groups

Below you'll find a list of multicultural groups and their mission statements. If you're interested in joining a group and can't find the contact, please e-mail osamp@emmanuel.edu and we can connect you with the group of your choice!

ACCENT (Association of Countries, Cultures, Events, Nations and Traditions)
To increase awareness and help promote diversity of cultures through social and academic events on campus and across the Colleges of the Fenway.

Asian Student Association (ASA)
To educate as well as promote awareness of Asian culture and customs socially and academically by meeting regularly and sponsoring events on campus and across the Colleges of the Fenway.

Black Student Union (BSU)
The Black Student Union strives to create an informative and comfortable atmosphere for students at Emmanuel College. We host activities that increase unity among students and create awareness of the African American Culture, while enhancing the academic experience of its members.

Eire Emmanuel

HUELLAS (Helping Unite Emmanuel Latinos Lead and Achieve Success)
To cultivate communications among various social, professional, and educational Latino/ Hispanic organizations and to advocate cultural competency via the continuing social and cultural programming for Emmanuel College students, faculty and staff.

Muslim Student Association (MSA)
The primary purpose is to encourage lifelong bonds between Muslims and non-Muslims who are part of the Emmanuel College community.

OUTspoken
The Emmanuel College LGBTQA OUTspoken brings students of all sexual and gender identities together in a safe, comfortable space. Through educational activities, conversations and outings we will work to fight homophobia and transphobia and create a better understanding of self-identity by building a welcoming space for our entire LGBTQA community.
