Multicultural Groups

Below you'll find a list of multicultural groups and their mission statements. If you're interested in joining a group and can't find the contact, please e-mail osamp@emmanuel.edu and we can connect you with the group of your choice!

ACCENT (Association of Countries, Cultures, Events, Nations and Traditions)
The purpose of ACCENT is to promote diversity and instill awareness of different activities and traditions present on campus.

Asian Student Association (ASA)
We strive to provide a comfortable and educational environment for the students by sponsoring events and meetings that address the Asian and Asian American culture.

Black Student Union (BSU)
The Black Student Union strives to create an informative and comfortable atmosphere for students at Emmanuel College. We host activities that increase unity among students and create awareness of the African Diaspora while enhancing the academic experience of its members.

HUELLAS (Helping Unite Emmanuel Latinos Lead and Achieve Success)
The goals of HUELLAS are to educate the Emmanuel College community about Hispanic/Latino culture, commitment and service that extends through Boston and abroad and finally help fellow Latinos on campus excel.

OUTspoken
The Emmanuel College LGBTQA OUTspoken brings students of all sexual and gender identities together in a safe, comfortable space. Through educational activities, conversations, and outings, we will work to fight homophobia and transphobia and create a better understanding of self-identity by building a welcoming space for our entire LGBTQA community.
