Emmanuel Appoints VP for Enrollment Management + Marketing
Emmanuel College has appointed Lynn M. Fawthrop as Vice President for Enrollment Management & Marketing, effective June 1st. In this role, Fawthrop will provide broad and strategic oversight of several key areas at the College, including undergraduate and graduate student recruitment and retention, student financial services and marketing.
"A creative and collaborative thinker and leader, Lynn Fawthrop will build upon the momentum of the last decade, during which we experienced a three-fold increase in undergraduate enrollment," said Emmanuel College President Sister Janet Eisner, SND. "As demographics shift, technologies evolve, and economic factors present challenges to our students, we are confident that Lynn Fawthrop's expertise will further enhance Emmanuel's position as a leading Catholic liberal arts and sciences college in Boston."
Fawthrop brings three decades of higher education experience in the areas of admissions practices and policies, financial aid strategies, integrated marketing, retention outcomes, fundraising, public relations and college advancement. She most recently served as Senior Vice President for Enrollment Management & Retention at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, where she managed undergraduate, graduate and continuing studies admission; undergraduate, graduate and law school financial aid; retention; registrar; and recruitment marketing. At Roger Williams University, Fawthrop developed the enrollment management model which positively impacted the college's enrollment, visibility, reputation and retention. She holds a BS in Management from Rhode Island College.
