College Planning and Evaluation

Emmanuel College relies on thoughtful decision-making practices during its planning and evaluation processes.

Although such formal phrases as "campus-wide engagement," data-driven knowledge," and "iterative decision-making" are relatively new additions to the higher education lexicon, Emmanuel College has relied on thoughtful decision-making practices throughout its long history. Specific attention to developing and implementing a systematic, participatory planning process that includes an assessment of student learning outcomes, considers the impact of enrollment changes and uses the results for improvement has been paramount to the College's success.
