The Maureen Murphy Wilkens Science Center

Emmanuel students have referred to The Maureen Murphy Wilkens Science Center as "academics in action."

Stroll through the building's four floors that include 14 laboratories for biology, chemistry, physics, biochemistry and neuroscience, multipurpose classrooms, meeting spaces and common areas, and you will quickly understand what they mean.

This is a world-class science center designed to foster interactive learning and community building. Here you will conduct research side-by-side with faculty members and take full advantage of our location in the Longwood Medical and Academic Area. You will prepare yourself for the next step in your future, whether it is graduate study or an opportunity in the highly competitive fields of science, technology and healthcare.

Emmanuel Awarded Cummings Foundation Grant for Service Initiatives

In May 2019, Emmanuel College was selected as one of 100 Boston-area nonprofits to receive a $100,000 grant through Cummings Foundation's "$100K for 100" program. The grant will help support service initiatives through Emmanuel's Cardinal Seán O'Malley Center for Mission & Ministry.
