Financial aid is disbursed after the add/drop period of each semester, once your enrollment and housing statuses has been verified. If you have a credit on your account after tuition and fees, you may reduce your loan amount or request a refund through EC Online Services on MySaints. Students who request a refund online may have the funds directly deposited into a bank account. Because financial aid is disbursed after the add/drop period, most refunds are not available until mid-October for the fall semester and late February for the spring semester.
Pell Grant Recipients
Pell Grant recipients who have Title IV funds in excess of their charges are eligible for a refund that will be issued no later than seven days after the start of the semester so that they may purchase books and supplies. If you are a Pell Grant recipient and your Title IV aid is in excess of your charges, Emmanuel College will automatically refund your Title IV credit. The credit will be mailed to your preferred mailing address or will be directly deposited to your bank account (if you completed an online refund request form with your bank account information).
