In our application review, Emmanuel College considers all aspects of your record and experience as part of the admissions decision.
In addition to your grades and courses taken, we carefully consider what we learn about you from your recommendation letters, essay, activities, standardized test scores and other information presented about your background. Our process is thorough and individualized. If you are applying as a transfer student or international student, please make note of special requirements.
The requirements for domestic first-year applicants include:
- Application Form
- Official High School Transcript
- Two Letters of Recommendation
- Standardized Test Scores (optional)
- Interview (recommended)
You may submit the Common Application online or by mail. If you would like an application mailed to you, please contact the Office of Admissions. There is a $60 application fee to submit a paper application; the fee is waived if you apply online. Please note: If you are a home-schooled student, use the code 970000 for the secondary school block on the Common Application.
Official High School Transcript
Your school counselor may submit your current high school transcript by mail or through the Common Application website. When your first marking period grades become available, please make sure the grades are submitted to our office.
You may complete an essay with your Common Application.
Two Letters of Recommendation
Your recommendations should come from your school counselor and an academic teacher of your choosing.
Standardized Test Scores (Optional)
Applicants for admission are not required to submit standardized test scores (SAT I, SAT II and ACT). If you choose to submit your test results, please have them sent directly from the testing agency or indicated on your official high school transcript. The Emmanuel College CEEB code is 3368. For more information on this policy, please visit our test-optional information page.
While not required, an interview with an admissions counselor is recommended to help the Admissions Committee learn more about your background and interest in attending Emmanuel. Interviews are available on campus as well as by phone.
