Master Promissory Note & Entrance Counseling

To complete the application process for a Federal Direct Stafford Loan, you must complete both a Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Student Loan Entrance Counseling. Please follow the instructions below. If this paperwork is not completed, the loan(s) will not be credited to your tuition bill. New students starting in the Fall of 2010 will have an opportunity to complete this paperwork during orientation in June.

Federal Direct Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling can be completed online.

Your Federal Direct Stafford Loan MPN can be completed on the Direct Lending web site.  Please note that your FAFSA PIN is required to complete your Master Promissory Note online. If you are unsure what your PIN is, it can be obtained through the Department of Education web site.
