The Federal Direct Stafford Loan can be awarded as a subsidized loan, which does not accrue interest while attending school, and/or as a unsubsidized loan, which does accrue interest while attending school. Interest rate information on the Federal Direct Stafford Loan can be found on this page.

Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling »

In order to receive your Federal Direct Stafford Loan funds, you must complete the Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling requirements.

If you do not wish to borrow with the Federal Direct Stafford Loan, or would like to reduce the amount of your loan, please send an email including your name and student ID to financialservices@emmanuel.edu.
