How do I apply for financial aid?
To apply for financial aid at Emmanuel College, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Emmanuel College Application for Financial Aid. Read more on Financial Aid applications.
Do I need to reapply for financial aid each year?
Yes. To be considered for need-based financial aid, students must reapply for financial aid each academic year. To receive priority consideration, applications should be submitted in February prior to the start of the upcoming academic year.
Are there jobs available on campus?
Students who apply for financial aid may be eligible for Federal Work Study, which is a student employment program funded by the federal government and Emmanuel College. Students may work up to twenty hours per week and are paid on a bi-weekly basis. On- and off-campus Federal Work Study jobs are posted in the Office of Student Financial Services.
Student employment jobs are also available on-campus for students who do not apply for financial aid or who do not qualify for Federal Work Study.

Are there options available to pay the balance after financial aid?
Many families cover the balance due after financial aid utilizing the College's ten-month payment plan or private alternative student or parent loans.
What is the average financial aid package?
Emmanuel College awards financial aid to students based on an evaluation of the student's and the student's family's ability to pay for his or her education. For this reason, each student's financial aid award is unique. Emmanuel College understands that paying for college can be challenging. We are committed to working with students and their families to make an Emmanuel College education a reality.
What happens if I miss the April 1, 2008 priority filing date?
Students whose applications are received after the priority filing date will be awarded on a funds available basis. You may find that even if you apply after the priority filing date, that there is sufficient funding available for you to be able to afford to enroll at Emmanuel College.
When is the bill due?
The fall semester bill is mailed in early July and due in early August. The spring semester bill is mailed in mid-November and due in mid-December. Read more on billing procedures, costs and payment options.
Will my deposit be reflected on my bill?
All accepted full-time undergraduate students who wish to enroll at Emmanuel College pay a $300 tuition deposit ($500 if they are living on campus) to secure their place in the class. This deposit is applied to the first semester bill.
Is health insurance required?
Yes. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires all full-time students to be covered under an acceptable health insurance plan. Read more on health insurance.
Can I park on campus?
A limited number of parking spaces are available on a first come, first served basis for commuter students. A parking application must be submitted to the VP of Student Affairs for approval. For your convenience, parking applications are mailed with your bill. Parking is not available for resident students.
