During my first-year orientation, I remember someone referring to Emmanuel as a 'hidden jewel.' At the time, I wasn't able to fully appreciate the meaning of the statement. Now, as a recent graduate, I can say from experience that I couldn't agree more.
Emmanuel is a place that wants its students to get the most out of their education. During my time here, I was allowed to jump right into the biology and chemistry fields as a tutor, lab assistant, club member and research assistant. I was also the recipient of a Merck scholarship. Looking back, I'd say I got back what I put in… and then some.
As I continue my studies and research in a Ph.D. program in analytical chemistry at Indiana University, I'm thankful for my time at Emmanuel College. Emmanuel offered me exceptional opportunities, ones that kept me focused and directed on my future. It helped lay the foundation for my success.
