Emmanuel Campus Tour

Social Justice & Community Service
Community service is an integral part of Emmanuel’s mission – 80% of our students are involved in volunteer activities. Our annual Day of Service provides first-year students with the chance to help out around Boston, including cleaning up the Muddy River and getting things ready for the new school year at Mission Grammar School. And there are many service opportunities to explore throughout your career at Emmanuel, from participating in Alternative Spring Break to enrolling in one of the College’s service learning courses.

Jean Yawkey Center and Marian Hall
Center of campus, the Jean Yawkey Center flourishes with many campus attractions. Inside is the Maureen Wilkens Atrium, Marian Hall classrooms and offices, the Marian Hall Cafeteria, Gymnasium and of course the campus bookstore.

The Quad
Our Quad is an oasis from the bustling city streets and a favorite place for students to convene. During the warmer months, this green space comes alive with activity as a place to find a game of ultimate Frisbee or to catch some rays and relax. Nestled between our Administration Building and the Jean Yawkey Center, the Quad is truly the heart of our campus.

The Jean Yawkey Center
The Jean Yawkey Center is the central gathering place for the entire Emmanuel community. The "living room" of our campus, it's the place to study between classes and meet with friends. Here you'll also find the Jean Yawkey Center for Community Leadership, a center dedicated to developing service opportunities for students and providing City of Boston youth with after-school and summer programs.

Home of the Saints
The Jean Yawkey Center is also home to the athletic offices and gymnasium – the place where Saints’ pride comes alive. Fans pack the bleachers of the multi-functional gymnasium, which includes one NCAA regulation court or two full-size practice courts, to cheer on their teams during the basketball and volleyball seasons. Emmanuel athletics offers 16 varsity sports including cross country, soccer, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, softball, and indoor and outdoor track. Each team participates in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and is affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC).
