Q: Do I have to be a Registered Nurse to enroll in your Program?

A: Yes. You have to be a registered nurse or have completed a program of study accredited by the National League for Nursing. Emmanuel College's Bachelor of Science in Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), One Dupont Circle, NM, Suite 530, Washington, DC 20036-1120. The website, www.aacn.nche.edu, is a resource for information about nursing education.

Q: How long will it take to get my degree?

A: Courses meet in an accelerated bi-weekly format. The amount of time it takes to complete the BSN will depend on your previous coursework and how many courses you take each semester. Most RNs complete the BSN program in 2 ½ to 3 ½ years.

Q: Will I need to repeat my science coursework?

A: No. We accept your transfer credits, including science courses with grades of "C" and above. We do not place a time restriction on your previous coursework.

Q: Is there a Practicum?

A: Yes. You choose the Practicum that combines your course goals, your career goals, and one that fits your work schedule.
