December Graduates Celebrated

A Recognition Ceremony and Reception for December 2007 Graduates of Emmanuel College's Graduate and Professional Programs was held on Thursday evening January 31, 2008 at 6pm in the College Chapel. The degrees and certificate programs completed included:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Graduate Certificate in Management and Leadership
- Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management
- Master of Science in Management
- Master of Science in Human Resource Management
- Master of Arts in Teaching
- Master of Education in School Administration
Fr. Stephen Boyle, College Chaplain gave an opening blessing in the Chapel. Dean Judith Marley, Vice President of Academic Affairs, Frank Scully and Dean Nancy Northrup offered greetings and congratulatory remarks to the graduates.
Faculty members, introduced by Associate Dean, Ellen Sweeney, were honored for Excellence in Instruction: Mr. Gary Wallrapp, Dr. Susan Berger, Dr. Alexander Heil, Dr. Claudette Moran, Dr. Robert Ruscitto, Dr. William Simcox, and Dr. Martin Walsh.
Ms. Maureen McManus, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration December 2007 graduate and Senior Human Resources Consultant at John Hancock Financial Services shared her reflections on her journey toward completing her degree.
December 2007 graduates were introduced to the Ambassador Program for Alumni by Ms. Marjorie Bell, Enrollment Counselor, and were welcomed into the Alumni Community by Ms. Noreen Dimond, President of the Alumni Association Board. Ms. Valerie Stephens shared a token of congratulations on behalf of the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
All guests then adjourned to the Emmanuel College Auditorium for hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.
