Thing about EC: Emmanuel is a place where there is something for everyone. Whether it's academics, extracurriculars,  leadership positions, or community service, Emmanuel has endless opportunities within our tight-knit community, the Colleges of the Fenway, and all of Boston!
Professor: Dr. Cynthia Fowler - she was my professor for American Art to 1940, which I took for a general requirement. She pushes her students to be really knowledgeable about the material and is difficult, but recognizes hard work. She was one of the more challenging professors I've had but that's what makes her my favorite!
Class: Honors: Reading Shakespeare. As an English major, the content of this course really fascinated me and allowed me to see a number of different ways of reading Shakespeare's Hamlet and Twelfth Night. We went really in depth with both of these texts and I learned a lot about the Early Modern time period, as well, which was great!

Why Emmanuel? I really loved the fact that it had a campus in the middle of the big city. I saw that both Emmanuel and Boston had so much to offer and I loved the sense of community I got from my very first visit and couldn't wait to join it!
If you were trapped on an island, list 3 things you would bring: My dog Sunday, a library and an endless supply of PB&J sandwiches.
What do you want to be when you grow-up? I want to be a Journalist or an English teacher. Or a Secret Agent if neither of those work out.
