Thing about EC: I honestly appreciate the sense of community and camraderie that is present around campus. It really makes you feel welcomed and as if you are a part of the Emmanuel faculty.
Professor: Dr. Clare Mehta was my favorite professor. She made a conscious effort to make her class both engaging and interesting. She did not just lecture us but encouraged discussion about the material being taught and allowed us to do a lot of group oriented activites. Dr. Mehta was also very funny, kind and realized that maybe not everyone loved the class; which I was very impressed by since not many professors seem to acknowledge that. Her class is the only one I did not mind going to and I will definitely be taking another class with her during my time at Emmanuel.
Why Emmanuel? Emmanuel was close to home, the perfect size and next door to some of the best hospitals in the world. I figured since I want to be a doctor, having those places in my backyard would allow me to maybe get an internship or job at one of the hospitals.
If you were trapped on an island, list 3 things you would want: A life boat, water, and a survival expert.
What do you want to be when you grow-up? Dr. Jordan, making a difference in peoples' lives one patient at a time!
