Financial Aid and Health Insurance Information
If you will have a Federal Direct Stafford loan, you must complete a Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling. This is due by June 30, and required for any new student with a Federal Direct Stafford loan.
If you are planning to waive Emmanuel's health insurance OR enroll in the student plan, you must complete the Online Health Insurance Waiver or Enrollment Form. This form is also due by June 30. Please note: the Online Health Insurance Waiver or Enrollment Form is separate from the Health Form.
Student Health Records
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires that colleges have the completed health and immunization records of all full-time and part-time students on file. Please contact your physician to schedule an appointment, then complete and return the Health Form. The health form is due July 1. We recommend that you keep a copy of the completed forms for your records.
Move-In Day and Weeks of Welcome
Move-in for new and transfer students is September 1, and the Weeks of Welcome run from September 1 - October 13! When you arrive on campus in the fall, Emmanuel has many activities and events planned for you. You will learn more about the Emmanuel community, meet your fellow students, watch a drive-in movie on the quad and participate in service in the local Boston communities.
Family Weekend
Family Weekend is an opportunity for parents and families to come back to Emmanuel's campus, participate in events planned specifically for that weekend and visit with their students! The 2013 Family Weekend is October 18-20, so save the date and look for more information to come soon!
Emmanuel E-mail Address
You will receive your new Emmanuel e-mail address prior to Orientation. Make sure that you check this often, as pertinent information will be forwarded to it.
Mailbox Assignments
Emmanuel College provides all resident students with a mailbox on campus. New student residents will be provided with mailbox numbers and combinations during the first week of August. Students also have access to inter-college mail for faculty, staff, and departmental mailboxes. The mailroom operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Fenway Card
The Emmanuel College Student ID card is also the student's Fenway Card and serves as Emmanuel's official identification. The Fenway Card enables students to access essential campus facilities and services including the dining hall, campus buildings, residence halls, library and the Jean Yawkey Center. Students will get their ID photo taken at Orientation and receive it during Welcome Week in the fall. Most services can be accessed with the card via readers placed around the college. Students should carry the card at all times while on campus. Fenway Cash is accepted as a form of payment at the campus bookstore, the dining hall, laundry and vending machines. Students may also use Fenway Cash to make purchases at popular local businesses in the Fenway neighborhood. Learn more »
