ARC0101 - Strategies for Academic Success
The seminar, Strategies for Academic Success, is designed to help you develop learning strategies to adapt to the expectations of a college liberal arts education. To begin, you will identify your personal learning style. Each study technique that we discuss will include information that encompasses the various personal learning styles. Topics for the seminar include how to: dissect a syllabus, create notes that are good study tools, combat procrastination, manage time effectively as well as conquer textbook reading. In addition, topics will include how to be an active learner as well as how to create good study habits and take tests. Goal setting and self-reflection will also be incorporated into the course as these are integral components to college success. Classes will combine lectures, discussion, and experiential activities.
As a result of ARC 0101 you will be able to:

Evaluation:
The final grade for this course is Pass/Fail.
