Web Typefaces

Arial is the predominant font on the Emmanuel web site. Rockwell is used sparingly for headers and icons. The standard font size for the Emmanuel web site is 12 pt. (The Content Management System will auto-adjust font to fit this standard.)

When creating a page on the main College web site, only Arial or those headers pre-created in the header pull-down menu should be used. Alternate fonts may not be readable by visitor's computers, and /or may not be in compliance with accessibility standards.

Web Color Palette

The use of font color when working on web pages created through the CMS should be limited to those available to you through the Header options (typically the purple and green in the primary palette below). Colors outside of the color palette, such as red, should only be used in rare and extreme situations, such as emergencies or cancelled events.

If designing icons, other imagery or outside web sites, please consult the Office of Marketing Communications to see which colors from our palette should be used. Most projects, such as Athletics and Graduate & Professional Programs, use a modified version of the Web Color Palette.
