Community Relations

The College supports the community through the following programs and partnerships:

 

Jean Yawkey Center for Community Leadership

The Jean Yawkey Center for Community Leadership provides programs that are dedicated to developing service opportunities and leadership skills for Emmanuel students, while building bridges through initiatives that support young people in Boston schools. Learn more »

Emmanuel College and the Jean Yawkey Center for Community Leadership are providing gym space for practice and home games during the OLPH Mission Saints' boys basketball inaugural season as part of our youth program.

Alongside the OLPH Mission Grammar boys basketball team are Emmanuel graduates and Mission staff members Maura Bradley,BA '96 and MAT '99 (principal), Cat DesRoche, '05 (kindergarten teacher), Allie Weller
Dutson, '05 (fifth grade teacher), and Albert Hayle, '05 (eighth grade teacher and basketball coach).

The Carolyn A. Lynch Institute

The Carolyn A. Lynch Institute offers programs and services that enhance the professional development of urban teachers and enrich the education of PK-12 students in the city of Boston. Learn more »


Merck Partnership

Since 2004, when Merck Research Laboratories-Boston opened its doors on the College's campus, Emmanuel students have benefited from this unique collaboration through research, internship and scholarship opportunities as well as lecture series sponsored by Merck. Learn more »

Fenway Dual Enrollment Program

The Fenway Dual Enrollment Program allows Fenway High School students the opportunity to enroll in undergraduate courses at Emmanuel College for high school and college credit at no cost. Learn more »
