Saints to Face Rochester in NCAA Tournament

The Emmanuel College women's basketball team will face the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York this Friday, March 1st in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament. The game begins at 7:00 p.m.
Emmanuel is making the program's 18th NCAA Tournament appearance. The Saints (23-5) received an automatic bid to the national tournament, after winning their 7th-straight Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) title. Emmanuel advanced as far as the national quarterfinals (Elite Eight) last season. The Saints have also reached the Final Four in 2001 and the Sweet Sixteen in 2007.
Rochester will play host to two NCAA Regional games on Friday evening. The other game will feature the University of Scranton (19-8) taking on Williams College (22-5). University of Rochester received a "Pool C" or at-large NCAA bid coming out of the University Athletic Association (UAA). Rochester is making the program's 12 NCAA Tournament appearance and returning to the dance after a one-year hiatus.
Tickets will be priced at $6 for adults and $3 for students with ID. Children under the age of two will be admitted free of charge. The University of Rochester will offer Livestats, Audio and Live Stream Video coverage. Links are below:
