Sr. Janet Eisner in Rome to Discuss Catholic Higher Education

Emmanuel President Sr. Janet Eisner, SND will travel to Rome, Italy to take part in a panel discussion on "Charisms Carried Forward: Mission, Identity, and the Future of Catholic Higher Education, Part I" at the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities' (ACCU) sixth annual Rome Seminar on June 22nd. She will join fellow panelists Rev. Jonathan DeFelice, O.S.B, president of St. Anselm's College and Sr. Carol Zeigler, SND, special assistant for mission effectiveness at Notre Dame College.
The Rome Seminar, which runs from June 20th-25th, offers trustees, administrators and faculty leaders of ACCU institutions "a first-hand opportunity to explore the intellectual and spiritual legacy of the Catholic Church in order to strengthen and promote the mission of Catholic higher education in the United States." Sister Janet was selected by the Sisters of Notre Dame's Congregational Leadership Team to represent the order.
Sister Janet was also recently featured in the summer 2010 issue of Update, the ACCU's quarterly newsletter, in celebration of her 30th anniversary as Emmanuel College President. Click here to read article.
