Mastronardi Named GNAC Sports Information Director of the Year

Associate Director of Athletics/Sports Information Director Alexis Mastronardi was recently named the inaugural Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Sports Information Director of the Year for the 2007-2008 academic year. Selected by her peers, she was honored during the conference's professional development seminar held at the Doubletree Hotel in Boston on August 17th.
"We are extremely proud of Alexis, and thrilled that her peers in the GNAC have recognized her efforts," said Director of Athletics and Recreation Pam Roecker. "Alexis has set the bar very high for the sports information directors in the league. She is active on several GNAC committees, she serves as one of the league's assistant commissioners, she was instrumental in the launch of our new www.goECSaints.com web site and most importantly, she does an amazing job promoting and supporting our Emmanuel College student-athletes, sports programs and coaches on a daily basis."
A member of the Saints' athletic staff since 2001, Mastronardi has brought a wide variety of experience to the department and is a key member of the athletic and college administration. The Emmanuel College community congratulates her on this well-deserved achievement!
