Saints Freeze 5th-Ranked Polar Bears
The 23rd-ranked Emmanuel College women's basketball team rallied from a double-digit deficit to upset fifth-ranked Bowdoin College at Morrell Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon, 61-53. The Saints (9-3) dealt the Polar Bears (10-1) their first loss of the season by outscoring the hosts 37-19 in the second half en route to the upset victory. Full Story »

Students Present Work at Annual ASA Conference
In August, four Emmanuel students participated in the annual meeting of the American Sociological Association. The students, Lauren Dupuis '10, Lauren Harris '10, Susanna Derby '10 and Megan Tessitore '08, submitted research they had carried out in a class in the fall of 2007 and their studies were accepted at a poster presentation at the conference.
